This Privacy Policy explains how the Footee mobile game (“Footee”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. We have built Footee to collect as little personal data as possible. By using the app you agree to the practices described below.

Your game progress — including your current streak, puzzle history, today’s result and difficulty settings — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload this information to our servers, and it is removed if you delete the app.
Footee displays advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising identifier, device and diagnostic information, IP address, and general app usage. Depending on the consent you provide, ads may be personalized (based on this information) or non‑personalized (contextual only).

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the app will ask for your consent for advertising data processing the first time you play, using Google’s consent mechanism. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:
The legal bases we rely on are your consent (for personalized advertising) and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the game. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).
Footee is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the app — our content host (Supabase) and our advertising provider (Google AdMob) — each acting under their own privacy terms.
On-device data remains until you clear it or uninstall the app. Advertising data is retained by Google in accordance with its policies. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own, including the United States. Where required, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards.
